R&D Department Overview

Our Research and Development Department is dedicated to advancing the next generation of sustainable, high-performance building technologies through cutting-edge scientific research and industrial collaboration. We operate at the intersection of building physics, innovative building materials, and sustainability/circularity, integrating advanced simulation methods, data-driven modelling, and experimental research to support the transition towards climate-resilient and resource-efficient built environments.

Our R&D strategy is grounded in three complementary pillars:

  • Building Physics — pioneering probabilistic and AI-driven methodologies for energy-efficient and moisture-safe envelope design.
  • Building Materials — Fiber reinforced concrete and the cementitious material with with novel binders to improve mechanical performance, durability, and environmental footprint.
  • Sustainability and Circularity — implementing life cycle thinking through comprehensive environmental and economic assessments and enabling circular design principles in construction practice.

Through close collaboration with academia, public institutions, and industry, our R&D initiatives bridge scientific excellence with practical innovation.
